The protection of personal data is very important to us. The purpose of this document is to inform you of all information related to the processing of your data if you use the Online Shop. Definition. For better clarity and orientation, these principles of personal data processing contain concepts that are often repeated in this principle:
Online store: online store operated by the operator NOVATEC EU s.r.o. (www.eshop.novatecwheels.eu);
GDPR: Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council.
Personal data: any information about a user from which he or she can be directly or indirectly identified.
User: the natural person to whom the personal data relate, most often the customer or
a prospect, also referred to as "you“.
Processor: carries out personal data processing activities based on a contract or other authorization of the controller.
1. Basic facts
Your data is collected directly by our company NOVATEC EU s.r.o. Thus, we can be in the position of data controller.
We process the following personal data about you:
name and surname, contact details (especially e-mail, telephone number), address.
invoicing data and bank details (data necessary for bookkeeping);
information you provide to us when communicating with us (in particular your
questions and answers to your questions, and communication with you).
We do not process special categories of personal data.
2. For what purpose do we process personal data and what is the reason for processing
2.1 Performance of the contractual relationship and legal obligations related to it. The reason for the processing of Personal Data is the performance of the purchase contract and related obligations (delivery of goods, bookkeeping, settlement of complaints, or exercise of the right to return the goods within the statutory period). We will process your name and surname, contact details (home address and delivery address, e-mail, and telephone number), or other invoicing data. Personal Data is processed for the duration of the contractual relationship and subsequently for 4 years from its termination (in this case, we are interested in storing some Personal Data related to the purchase contract to protect our interests). We are legally obliged to archive accounting and tax documents. The retention period for this data may be up to 10 years from the end of the tax period in which the supply took place. Insofar as necessary for delivery and payment purposes, the personal data collected by us will be forwarded to an authorized shipping company or an authorized credit institution.
2.2 Payment by card. If you provide us with your credit card details, we do not have access to complete data. All we know is that you pay by card and the card details are processed by the recipients of this data who process the payment on our behalf.
2.3 Order Processing. To process your order, we also cooperate with other service providers (carriers and others) who help us with the performance of concluded contracts. We pass on your data to these partners only to fulfil the obligations arising from the purchase contract.
2.4 Customer Support Communications, Complaints, or Other Questions. If you have contacted us, we will process your data based on your consent to handle your question or complaint. We may process the following personal data about you: name, surname, telephone number, e-mail, and your order data. Closed customer support questions and complaints are periodically deleted, but no later than 4 years after the inquiry or complaint has been handled.
2.5 Reviews. Our customers' reviews are important to us. We will publish reviews if you permit us to do so (provide a review for the product or service). We may process the following personal data about you: name, surname, e-mail, and order data. Subject to your explicit consent, we will also process photos and personal data that are part of the review text. Reviews are inserted until consent is withdrawn, but no later than 5 years.
2.6 Customer Reviews. You can share your shopping experience and assess individual goods. We may use other processors to evaluate your feedback on individually purchased goods.
2.7 Legal Obligations. In addition to the processors listed below, we may transfer personal data to third parties if required to do so by law in response to lawful requests from public authorities or at the request of a court in litigation.
2.8 Age Restriction. For age-restricted goods, we verify that you have reached the required minimum age by applicable laws. For this purpose, we use an identification service that allows us to verify your age.
2.9 Digital Products. If it is necessary to update the goods with digital elements or digital products, we will process the data you provided when placing your order.
3. Communication
3.1 Emails We May Send. As part of the sale of our goods or services, we may send customers emails regarding:

4. Intermediaries
Your data may be passed on to our business partners (processors) or other third parties if required by law. We only use verified processors with whom we have a written contract and who provide us with at least the same guarantees as we provide to you. These are only processors who are from the European Union, from countries that have been declared and recognized as secure, or from countries with which we have concluded standard contractual clauses by Article 46 of the GDPR and who provide your Personal Data with a comparable level of protection as in the case of the application of the GDPR and Slovak law. All our processors are bound by an obligation of confidentiality and are not allowed to use the personal data provided for any purposes other than those for which we have made it available following this policy.

5. What are your rights?
Where can you contact us? Please write to us at info@novatecwheels.eu e-mail address or the address of our registered office.
When will we solve this? We will reply to you within one month at the latest. Where disclosure of information jeopardizes the privacy of others, or disclosure would be disproportionate to the risks or cost of providing it, we may not be able to accommodate you. In the event of a repeated request, the Administrator is entitled to charge a reasonable fee for a copy of Personal Data.
Right of access. Confirmation of whether we process your data. Information on the purposes of processing, categories of Personal Data, recipients to whom they are provided, the period of processing, and the existence of the right to request from the operator the exercise of any of the rights listed below. This is subject to the assumption that the rights and freedoms of others are not adversely affected.
Right to rectification. Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
Right to erasure. If there is no other reason to process this data further, we will delete or completely anonymize the data you have requested.
Right to restriction of processing. If you believe that we are processing data incorrectly - whether it is the reasons for the processing or its scope, please let us know.
Right to notification of rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing. If you contact us with a request, we will inform you of the result, unless this is impossible (e.g. the e-mail address from which you wrote to us no longer works).
Right to portability. At your request, we may transfer the data that you have provided to us in a structured and machine-readable format to another controller.
The right to object. If we process your data based on a legitimate interest (e.g. sending
the newsletter), it is up to us to prove our legitimate interest, if we agree with your objection,
We will stop this process.
Right to withdraw consent. If you have changed your mind, please write to us. Process for marketing and business purposes may be revoked at any time.
Automated individual decision-making, including profiling. You have the right not to be subject to any decision based solely on automated processing, including any decision that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you. We respect your rights; therefore, we do not carry out profiling.
